Welcoming Refugees – Local European Experiences

During 25-27 January 2017, the think tank Arena Idé together with the city of Norrköping and Remeso at Linköping University, invited politicians and officials in European municipalities, as well as researchers in the social sciences, to a conference to discuss best practices and innovative solutions for receiving refugees and creating welcoming cities and inclusive local communities. 130 participants from 16 european countries gathered in Norrköping engaged in the workshops, went on study visits and listened to the key note speeches.
